Dakine Bags
Dakine has a full line of packs that are not only great looking but durable and versatile. There are six different types of packs each with a range of features and colors for both the guys and the girls. Dakine Bags will keep you in style and keep everything you need to take with you in its place.
The six different types of packs are the Street, Snow, Photo, Surf, Skate and Bike Packs. Pricing will vary within each type of pack and depending upon the features available but can range from the twenties to about two hundred (in the Photo line) dollars. Dakine Bags can be purchased online at their website (or other sites) and some retailers offer them locally. These packs are available around the world which means that "Dakine" is a universal name.
In the Street Pack line, there are about 35 styles for the guys and 20 for the girls. The Snow Pack line includes 20 and 5, the Surf Pack there are 6, the Skate Pack offers 13 and in the Bike Pack there are 17 and 8 respectively. What a line up and we're just getting started.
The material that the Dakine Bags are made of will vary from 600D polyester and 420D nylon Dobby in the guys Street Pack "Network' to 100% recycled PET pack fabric along with regrind buckles on the Skate Pack 'Mission - Re-Gen'. Each one is durable and designed for various uses and needs that a Dakine consumer demands from their packs.
In regards to features, there are over 20 different features available (not including those for the Photo line); however not every feature is available for each bag. In addition, some of the bags, depending upon the line, have unique features that will allow you to carry your snowboard, skateboard or helmet (Dakine Heli Pro). Several even have the feature of a ski carry.
Probably one of the most unique features that several of the Dakine Bags have is that of a hydration system. At this time, it's only available in the Bike Packs which have a special reservoir pocket inside the pack. This pocket holds a 70oz/2L or a 100oz/3L reservoir which has a Quick Disconnect Hose. This is a unique system in which the reservoir is filled with water, inserted into the specially designed and insulated pocket to keep water cool and you hydrated on your bike rides (Dakine Nomad). The Quick Disconnect Hose is attached to the reservoir and then slipped through a strap on top of the shoulder strap and then over your shoulder to your front side and then clipped on.
The busier our lives get, the more we are trying to multi-task just about everything we do. The line of packs that Dakine offers does the same thing. They are not just a plain old back pack but a multi-functional tool that holds our stuff whether the stuff is a 17" laptop or a snowboard and a helmet or a hydration reservoir and a nutritious snack.
Whether you want a fleece lined pocket for your sunglasses or have the need for a Tarp Wax pocket (in the Surf Pack line) you will find a pack to fit your personal needs. Each pack is strong, well built and are stylish. Dakine Bags will fit easily into any lifestyle.
